PhD in Education, Project Maneger in KAVI

My special interest is adult and media education, and life long learning. I currently work as a project manager in the Finnish National Audiovisual Institute, in a media education project.

My academic dissertation "Older people and eHealth service use: An exploration of a complex learning and care ecosystem in rural areas of Finnish Lapland" was publicly defended at the Faculty of Education, University of Lapland on December 2022. My reserach focuses on rural older people's digital competence and how they learn to use and use new digital social and health care services in their everyday lives.

I graduated from the University of Helsinki as a Master of Education in 2017. I have also studied nursing and worked as a practical nurse prior to pursuing my studies at the university.
